Hi everyone! So far everything is going good, we didn`t have transfers.... ha ha just kidding, right now I`m in Guadalajara again, in the area of the old zone leaders. My companion and I are both new, so we`ve got lots of work to do. My companion`s name is Elder Toledo. He is from the United states. I never thought that I would have an American companion, but here I am ha ha. Everything went good in our travels. We got here at 3 more or less. Yesterday, we had to leave my area directly after the sacrament meeting, and pretty much everyone watched me leave with my suitcases in hand. It was pretty interesting. Diana cried a little. but so far everything has turned out pretty good. We were able to find some people to teach before I left. We were on divisions with the district leader, and we were able to put a new baptismal date before I left.
So I bought a super sweet jaguar flute, that when you blow on it, it sounds like a jaguar. The other one is an owl, that my companion bought. It was super cool. So this week has been pretty good. We got lots of work done while I was in divisions, and so I think I left the area with some work. We`ll see how Elder Landeros does ha ha. I think that this is about everything for this week, but I`m sure there witll be lots to write about next week.

Week 59 in Mexico, Week 29 in Zihuatanejo
Hi everyone!! So this week has been good! The good news is that I haven´t gotten sick still from what my companion got, He was all better before Wednesday. So far I might be the only person who hasn´t gotten sick from this thing (mosquito's). I´m going to have to brag about it a little if I have transfers and I don´t get sick. So some big news, our mission president changed the rule about going to the beach, so today, we had already asked for permission to go to ixtapa, a more tourist part of Zihua, and he gave it to us, but just yesterday, we got a message saying that we can now go to the beach, so that is what we did today, even though we just walked in the sand a little. It was pretty interesting, because everyone must have thought that we were crazy because we went in full uniform, tie and everything. We weren´t there for that long but now I´m a little sun burnt on my arms.
This week was pretty good. It's been super hot, it hasn´t rained for a super long time, so the heat is pretty killer, then Sunday in the early morning we had a pretty crazy storm, well everyone says it was pretty crazy. I slept right through it. I just remember seeing the lightning while I was half a sleep. During the week we had lots of opportunities to give service, we were able to help some less active members move some furniture, and clean the church. An interesting story, The church here almost never has any water, so its pretty dirty. When we went to go clean, we started to clean , and I said a little prayer so that there would be a little water, and when we went out back to check, it was just starting to fill up. I thought it was a little miracle.
So here we have some pictures of my missionary name tag in the sand, and some other pictures with my name tag. We ran into the sister missionaries with some members from the ward, just that they went in normal clothes. After that I took a picture with the hat of one of the members that was with the sisters. The last picture is in front of a life guard post, in Spanish it is more like life saver, and that is what we are doing so we thought a picture would be appropriate. Well, here are all of the pictures from today. Have a great week.

Week 58 in Mexico, Week 28 in Zihuatanejo
Hello! So this week we had lots of super cool experiences. We started of the week, and we went to a members house. Right before we got there, my companion and I were walking and we saw a women who looked pretty sad, and we both had the impression to talk with her. When we talked with her, it turns out that she was having some troubles in her life, and was thinking about suicide. We got there just in time, and we talked with her. When we finished, she was actually happy. She told us that she would go to church, but the sad thing is that she didn´t go. Besides that, there was one day, when we were walking all over the place, and we got really thirsty, and this was just after we had gotten back from Guadalajara, so we didn´t have any money. We went to go look for a reference before we went to lunch, and we took a new path that we usually don´t take. While we were walking, we heard someone shout ELDERS! and we sort of looked around until we saw someone in a hotel, and it turns out that it was the sister of an elder here in zihuatanejo. She was super surprised and she gave her son some money so that he would buy us something to drink. It was just in time. Then the next day, when we ran out of food in the house, she gave us a package with stuff for her brother, and at the same time, went to go buy stuff for us. After that they gave us all of the food that they had left over before they left. It was a huge blessing that we got because we had completely ran out of everything. Anyway, so here is a picture of us and this elder´s family.
Okay, so that was the big thing that happened this week. So the pictures here are, us at the zone conference (I can take selfies too, my arm is long enough to be a selfie stick). Some crazy pictures we took when we got to our house one night. More pictures from the zone meeting, and all of the elders in the zone trying to dance or something, I´m not sure ha ha.

Week 57 in Mexico, Week 27 in Zihuatanejo
So Hi everyone, This week has been going really good. This week I went to Guadalajara to go sign my visa, so I am officially legal again ha ha. So, everything was good for our trip to Guadalajara, we left Thursday in the morning at 9:30, and we got there at 6:30. Then we did not get to bed till 1 o clock. The next day I had to get up at 6 to go sign my visa. We took the bus to go back at 4:40 in the afternoon, and we got to the zone leaders house at 12 o clock midnight. Then the next day, we went to our area in the morning and we got here at like 12 in the afternoon. It was pretty exhausting. All day Saturday we were super tired, but now we are good again.
So that was the big thing that happened this past week. Tuesday and Wednesday we were in divisions and I was in the other area. Wednesday night the secretaries told me that I would be going to sign my visa. When we got there to sign my visa, we got it done super fast. I didn't have a full day to work here in my area, but the days that we were in divisions were good.
So everything is going good, we have been visiting lots of less active members this week. We don´t have lots of investigators, and Franscisco sort of disappeared, and he hasn´t gone to church, so I don´t think we are going to keep teaching him. But this week we are really going to work to find the less actives, and I think that we will be able to find some investigators while we are at it. It has been super hot here lately, It was pretty hard to sleep, especially last night, but It should rain here soon, and everything should cool down again. So here are some pictures of some food that we ate. A pizza with avocado, and some jello that a sister made into flowers. Pretty amazing. Have a great week.

Week 56 in Mexico, Week 26 in Zihuatanejo
This week was pretty good. I think we are starting to get in a routine, but it helped a lot to play today. we had a lot of fun playing, we invited lots of members and the sisters from our ward, and some other elders came. We got a little wet from the water balloon fight but it felt super good and i´m pretty sure I got sun burnt a bit. We were there for a couple of hours. We were able to find Fransisco this week and he still might be able to get baptized this week or the next. Okay, so I hardly have any time to write but I´m doing really good, we feel better and we are ready to work. The bishop gave us a list of all of the members in the ward, so this week we are going to be walking all over to be able find the less active members, and it gives us something else to do, a change to the routine. We are super excited and everything. I don't have a lot of time to write this week. Take care.

Week 55 in Mexico, Week 25 in Zihuatanejo
Hi Everyone! Hows it going? Sounds like everyone is doing great! Everything here is doing pretty good. The temperature is pretty good. We had our interviews with the mission president. He seems like a great mission president. He talked a lot about the importance of obedience to be able to have the spirit. During the interview he mostly just wanted to get to know us. They are super excited to be in this mission. Their Spanish isn´t super good, actually his wife almost doesn´t speak any Spanish, but they are learning super fast, and are way ready to help us a lot. Yes, it was super weird that we didn´t have transfers, but now, it means that we might be together until my companion finished his mission, because after this transfer, he only has 1 more left. A new district leader got here, and another sister missionary both got here, but besides that, everything is the same. President Egginton didn´t say anything about how long we have been together, but he was surprised at how close my companion is to the end of his mission. President Camarillo did all the transfers from when he left to the next ones here in August, so we´ll see what happens. About our investigator, he is doing very good, but we haven´t really had a time to meet with him, so we put his baptismal date 1 week back. He did come to church yesterday, so he has all of the attendances that he needs for his baptism. We still aren´t sure if he is a hundred percent ready, but we´ll see soon. Today we are going to go visit him after P day. I hope everyone has a great week.
Take care,
Elder Carey

Week 54 in Mexico, Week 24 in Zihuatanejo
So here I have some pictures from the zone conference, first one is the zone, the second is our district, and the last picture is of my companion and I eating pizza in what we thought was our last night before the transfers ha ha. So this week has been pretty good. We had divisions again and I went to San jeronimito. Next we had the zone conference, and the two other american missionaries from my district finished up their missions and went home. Next, yesterday, we went to church, and a friend of some members in our area that have been attending church asked us about baptism. We talked with him before, but he wasn't living in our area, so we went to the members house in our area and talked to him about baptism, and it turns out that he has been living in our area for a little bit. So we gave him a baptismal date, and he is going to be baptized the 18th of July!
We actually didn't have any transfers! We were super surprised, because the whole day, I was telling everyone goodbye and stuff like that, and when we got to the night to receive our transfers, and at like 10 o'clock they told me that I didn't have any transfers. The thing is that now we don´t know what to do because we have been here in Zihua for so long that we have already done everything that is here to do. Also, we had a pretty crazy storm here too. The day of the zone conference, exactly when we got up to get ready at 5 in the morning the thunder started, it was raining pretty hard for like an hour and a half, and then when it finished up, we left to go get the van that takes us to the zone conference. Well that’s it for this week. Have a great week.
